THYC run a very busy RYA recognised training centre which is open to the community. You can learn to sail at weekly sessions, take an RYA sailing or Powerboating course or book a group session for your school or club.

We hold regular open days, taster sessions & training courses throughout the summer months & RYA Level 2 Powerboat Courses throughout the year. The open days are free , training courses are at very competitive rates & we can teach you to sail from as little as £5 per session* what are you waiting for?

On the waters edge..
..our own ramp gives easy access to the water at most tide states & for disabled boaters a specially designed hoist & pontoon allows wheelchair users access as well.
For launching & retrieving boats the winch can deal with craft up to 750kg.

On site storage..
..subject to availability we can provide storage for your boat within the compound.
​
..off the water, the changing rooms have hot showers & a shower room for wheelchair or additional needs users.
..a training room gives classroom facilities for courses and outside hire.
..the lift goes to the first floor lounge & bar for a pint & panini!
..the comfortable lounge has pool tables, A.V. equipment, dance floor and group catering.
