Power Craft

Power craft at THYC

Hartlepool Bay is a popular venue for recreational power craft users; the Middleton Beach area is always particularly popular with our skiing members whilst jet skiers enjoy playing amongst the waves near Seaton Carew. We have members who prefer a spot of angling & those who go diving around the wrecks off the Hartlepool & Durham coast.

Power craft members benefit from the facilities THYC can offer: easy access to the water, a winch to aid vessels up to 750kg with launching & retrieving &, on a chilly day, a nice warm shower afterwards!
We can offer boat storage within the Club compound subject to availability. For further information you can contact power@thyc.org.uk or membership@thyc.org.uk

THYC members take part in a variety of activities at both local & national level. Jet ski’s are great for playing in the surf but also provide great fun on a trip out with friends. The group pictured below enjoy day trips along the coast, in particular to Whitby for fish & chips!  Read more..  The annual pilgrimage to the Sunderland airshow is always a favourite for the more adventurous -& always a really good day out!
