Scarborough to the Farnes & beyond

The North East coast offers great cruising opportunities!

cruising home by Runswick Bay

Hartlepool is ideally located for short day trips to Sunderland and Whitby. Both of which can be accessed at all states of tide and have excellent marina facilities.
Sailing a little further then Blyth and Scarborough are still within a days sail and again have excellent marina facilities.
For the more adventurous or those with more time on their hands why not cruise up the coast to the Farne Islands or onto the Forth and the Caladonian Canal.
If you fancy a North Sea crossing Ijmuiden is a good port of call. Scarborough Yacht Club organise a race each year and there is always a good turnout from Tees & Hartlepool Yacht Club.
